IPSY Glam Bag January 2014

Hey guys! Two weeks into second semester senior year of college and I am already pooped. I keep telling myself that I am going to blog more and start making Youtube videos but I get on the computer and Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest take over my life haha…but actually…

I find it way too easy to waste away the hours looking at the evidence online of everyone else living their lives that I feel like I am not really living mine. I am currently take four physical education classes and trying to eat healthier to take back control over my body but I also want to limit my time looking at other people’s social media’s and focus on my life and my blog! I love you all so much that this is where I would much rather be dedicating my time! <3

Getting back in the swing of things though, I wanted to post a haul of what was in my most recent IPSY Glam Bag because I feel like I haven’t put one up in a while and it is definitely a much requested post!

My adorable January Glam Bag! Loooooove the toiletries on the bag…so cute!!!

Absolute Makeup Cleansing Tissues with Pomegranate Extract

This was the first item from the bag that I really started using and I have already almost used them up! They smell soooooo yummy and exactly what I would imagine artificial pomegranate to smell like. One thing I really like about them is that they do not burn or sting my eyes like some other wipes but a con is that they are not the best at removing makeup. I have to work at it for a while to get everything off, which probably is great for my skin.

Nourish Organic Lightweight Moisturizing Face Lotion with Argan and Rosewater

This lotion went straight into my kit because I am a Cetaphil addict and I don’t usually stray from my beloved moisturizer. I do like this though for other people because it is very light and non-greasy on the skin. It has a soft fruity/almost carroty scent  and is 100% USDA-Certified Organic. The back states that the Morocaan Argan Oil hydrates and replenishes, the rosewater evens out skintone and texture and the shea butter locks in moisture.

Mica Beauty Cosmetics Tinted Lip Balm in Natural

I was not super wowed by this product but I am also not the biggest fan of lip products that come in a pot, especially tinted ones! I just find them so much more difficult and less practical to use that way. You do not need much of this product and it comes off on the lips as a natural dark plumy brown shade. I do have to say though that it’s not moisturizing at all and that is always something I look for in a lip balm. Not the hugest fan of this one.

Elizabeth Mott Smooth Shadow Creamy Eye Pencil in Penny

This eyeliner I do like though and am looking forward to using it on my blue eyed clients. The shadow/liner comes off looking like a beautiful, sparkly, shiny penny and I love it. It is definitely a product you would have to smudge out and set with a powder but I do not feel like this is a color I see often so I am excited to play with it some more!

Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair Deep Conditioning Mask

Last, but not least, this hair mask claims to be a repairing mask for dry, damaged, or chemically-treated hair. I used it all up already and it lasted me through two showers. I didn’t noticed anything dramatic…but then again I only used it twice. It has a really like yummy scent that I was definitely a fan of but I would have like to have had the chance to try it for longer before deciding if I really liked it or not. I’ll have to get back to you guys on this one haha.

Do any of these products look likes ones that would catch your eye?

Don’t worry! Posts about LA IMATS will be coming soon :) This weekend at the latest! Pinky promise <3

Hugs and kisses xoxo
